My Bio: Artist, Photographer, Gardener, Content Creator
Welcome to my website! My name is Trina Yount and I am a photographer, gardener, artist, and content creator based in Portland, Oregon. I have always had a passion for being outdoors, art, travel, gardening, and martial arts. I enjoy exploring new places or simply being in nature allowing inspiration to arrive in many paths.
Photography
I have been passionate about photography since I was a teenager. Capturing moments and emotions through my lens is one of the things that gives me the most joy. For me, photography is not just about taking pictures, but also about telling stories and conveying emotions. I particularly enjoy photographing gardens and flowers.
As a photographer, I specialize in garden and travel photography. I love to explore new places and capture the beauty of nature and different cultures through my camera.
Gardening
Being outdoors also sparked my interest in gardening. There's something magical about growing your plants, watching them thrive, and being able to enjoy the fruits (or vegetables) of your labor. I volunteer at the Pittock Mansion - Gardens of Pittock Mansion and the Portland International Rose Test Garden in spring and summer. Gardening also allows me to connect with nature and practice mindfulness. I enjoy taking pictures of all the beautiful special flowers that surround me.
Content Creation
As a content creator, I am always looking for new ideas and ways to express my creativity. From photography to gardening, I love sharing my experiences and knowledge with others through various platforms such as social media, blogs, and videos. I believe that creativity has no limits, and I constantly challenge myself to try new things and improve my skills. I have created a travel, art, ambient, and book YouTube channel to show you all my favorite interests. I spend my extra time painting, creating art with multimedia, and crafting.
Martial Arts
Aside from being creative, martial arts is also a big part of my life. It not only keeps me physically fit but also teaches me discipline, focus, and respect. It's a great way for me to clear my mind and relieve stress. I have been practicing Taekwondo for 4 years and it has become an important part of who I am. In the spring of 2023, I earned my first degree black Belt in Taekwondo. Besides being a student, I am also an office manager at a local dojang in Lake Oswego, Oregon. I help assistant teach, coach students moving into Black Belt, participate on our Demo Team (2024), and assist our Leadership Team. I work with a 4th-degree master and an Olympic gold medalist.

Photographing flowers is a very fulfilling and rewarding activity, especially because I love nature and photography. It allows me to capture the beauty of flowers in all their different forms - from bright and colorful to delicate and intricate.
Perhaps the most significant reason I love photographing flowers is the emotional connection it creates. Flowers have long been associated with love, happiness, and peace, I can evoke these emotions and create a lasting connection with the subject by capturing its beauty through photography. In a way, photographing flowers allows me to express my emotions and share them with you. My love of photographing flowers goes beyond just taking pretty pictures. It allows me to appreciate nature's beauty, explore my creativity, and connect with my emotions. Maybe it could inspire creativity in you too.
